You know that feeling when you see something and it reminds you of the past? You're either happy, sad or just plain emotionless even. Or, if you were me, your firewall would break down into a billion pieces and finally disintegrate in the end.
I am unsure what word to simply put out to explain how I feel each and every time it happens. But here's an idea maybe. In a way, I think I am traumatic. Bits and pieces of my past that I dread to remember and yearn to forget sometimes catches up with my present. When it all happens, my mind immediately goes on this bumpy roller coaster ride through endless tunnels of my dusty past. Blurry scenes run through my mind and images flash on and off. And as soon as reality pulls me back to life, it's as if my brain just stops functioning for a second or so. Then I break down.
Maybe, just maybe, you might wonder "What exactly triggers it?".
Well, that's not something I would like to share just yet.
Feel free to guess. Let your mind run wild.
