When a stranger suddenly pulls a face, frowns or snaps at you for no reason, the first thing that comes to mind is : " Does this person have a severe case of PMS or something? "
That was exactly what happened to me while I was strolling around in Angsana. It kinda made me remember of the situation that Feeqa had some time ago. That Nenek situation.
What happened exactly? Read this :
Me : *hugging 4 packets of kerepek
Mom : *taking out money
Saleslady : *stuffing our kerepek into plastic bag
Old Lady : Yang nih berapa ringgit? * shoves kerepek into my face
Me : Huh? I'm not selling, I'm not selling. *waves hands [ dh mula kalut, cm pelik pun ada ]
Old Lady : Nih berapa? [ deghil betul pompuan nih tau ]
Me : I'm not the one selling it. Maaaaa! *turns to Mom
Mom : *blinks
Old Lady : I know you're not selling, but you're buying, right? *singaporean slang [ babeng je nak marah marah orang ]
Me : Uhh..yeah?
Saleslady : *hands me plastic bag of kerepek
We walked away right after that. My mom said, " Kenapa dia tanya awak pulak? The price is on the packet. Eeh. "
Rasa nak marah, rasa malu pun ada. Tapi come on la, makcik. Kasi tgk tgk kat packet tuh for the price before tanya orang.
Nak aje aku hempuk makcik tuh. Nasib je bulan puasa kn.
I tried to find Naddy's Mom's boutique, but sadly, I failed.
Fafa was already restless anyway.
