For lunch, I had a chance to retaste the tastiness of the tasty Asam Pedas at Mak Jah's.
I sucked on the first spoonful of the rice and lauk, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
Though my mom said it was a tad bit too sour for her taste. Sure enough that nana would love it.
There's this little dog that's been roaming around the streets of Jalan Bakti a.k.a. my street, since a few weeks ago. It's been confirmed that it has no owner because no one seems to bring it food or fulfil it's canine needs.
The dog appears to be quite a nuisance as it constantly dozes off under my mom's car and tends to freak the hell out of me when it suddenly struts up to me as if to say, " Heyya there. Do I know you from somewhere? ".
And it succeeded in scaring this friend of mine on her way to school. [ jangan marah tau tau ]
After lunch at Mak Jah's, both my mom and I headed off to Jusco to do a bit of shopping.
While she was off faraway in the Land of Groceries, I dropped by MPH to scavenge for some new books. I ended up being quite disappointed as there were only the same old [ same new ] books in those shelves. Ohh pooey.
Stuffing my face in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was the least I could to avoid falling asleep in that bookstore. Then came along this little girl, whom I didn't look at when she sat next to me, carrying a big book full of pictures.
I managed to look at her face and it turned out she was supercute. She didn't look Chinese at all.
She reminded me of someone though.
